Hosted by the U.S. Navy, this challenge gave teams the opportunity to hone their hacking skills and compete for a share of $30,000 in prize money. Prior winners have provided insights that led to security improvements, tech integration, and new approaches to pressing issues.

Contestants were challenged to create algorithms that support the analysis and modeling of a set of provided “rules and guidelines” while competing for a share of $30,000 in prize money. The challenge was centered around the COVID-19 pandemic, which will have direct impact now and for future decision making.

$30,000 will be awarded in this track! The challenge will accelerate the adoption of Advanced Manufacturing using metallic 3D printing in the U.S. Navy. In the near future, and in part because of your participation in HACKtheMACHINE Atlanta, metallic 3D printing capabilities will enable ships and shipyards to keep the fleet on tight national security timelines.
